Now recruiting in North Carolina
Be the reason someone
gets to the game.
Groulpi Guides take small groups of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities out into their own town. Ballgames, libraries, coffee, markets. Part-time and local. We train you.
The job
Good company, a plan and a ride
You lead a Crew of 2–4 Explorers on an outing they chose. The Groulpi Guide app tells you the plan, the ride and what helps each person.
Before
Meet your Crew
Learn names, interests and what support each person wants.
During
Go out together
Help people take part, not just tag along. Order the coffee, find the seats, join the club.
Always
Keep it safe
Know the plan, check in with the home and respect every “no.”
After
Quick check-in
A few taps in the app. Scout drafts the note from them.

Guide questions
Good to know
We’re opening a small pilot in North Carolina. We’re building a list of Guides now and will reach out as outings are scheduled in your area.
Not always. Rides are booked for each outing. Some outings may use the home’s van or paratransit. Tell us what you have when you apply.
Most will be a few hours, ride included. A ballgame runs longer than a coffee.
Ready to be a Guide?
Tell us your county and when you’re free. We’ll be in touch as the pilot opens.
